What’s Your Excuse? Lose It!

The US Department of Energy has started advertising a website called Lose Your Excuse, in order to help people reduce their energy consumption through easy steps. The site is geared to kids, including games, but there is a section for parents in which they can generate a family energy plan. Check it out and let us know what you think.

I like that the site is both for kids and parents. In addition to the family energy plan there is also a consumer’s guide to energy efficiency and renewable energy that has great info for one’s home http://apps1.eere.energy.gov/consumer/.
